This coffee is grown in the beautiful region of Tolima. Emmanuel comes from a coffee producing family. He switched their production to speciality coffee in 2006, after he had the opportunity to learn much more about processes, quality and coffee varieties.
The Black Condor Project came about in 2016 when they built a processing centre that became a strategic bridge between more than 15 villages in Gaitania. It began processing coffees of coffee growers throughout the area. The aim of the project was to build and develop a drying station to receive the coffee and process it together to ensure consistency and quality. They pay 30% above the market rate for products. This sustainable project is unique in Tolima and is being supported by Forest Coffee (our Import Partners)
